Mechanization is a key driver of efficiency and productivity in agriculture. CFU Tanzania promotes access to mechanized services through trained service providers who support farmers with land preparation and crop protection.

Tillage Service Providers (TSPs)
Training and support for service providers offering mechanized land preparation using tools such as rippers.
Spray Service Providers (SSPs)
Training in safe and effective herbicide and pesticide application for weed and pest control.
Equipment Access Support
Facilitating access to appropriate tools and technologies that support conservation agriculture practices.
Capacity Building
Continuous training to ensure quality service delivery and sustainability.
Scale & Reach
CFU Tanzania has trained over 200 Tillage Service Providers and over 100 Spray Service Providers across multiple regions and projects, expanding access to mechanized services for smallholder farmers.
